    So peach ice cream reminds me that I finally made the kiwi sorbet/gelato this weekend, and it turned out too sweet, so the kids love it. The suggested sugar to water ratio’s ranged from 1:4 to 2:4, and I took the middle (1.5:4), but it was clearly too much.

    Oh well, off to make yet another bean salad for a bbq — that dish has been the hit of the summer bbq season in the uk!

    That’s always a tough call, I think. My family complains if it isn’t sweet enough, I prefer more of an emphasis on the fruit juice. Let me know if you try again!
