Onion Blight?

Am I the only one cutting into onions and finding cores that are rotting out?  Happened in St. Louis, happening here in town.  Odd.

    I’ve noticed it too, here in Northern VA, and from onions coming from Whole Foods. But then, my Whole Foods isn’t really that great for quality produce.

    I had a red onion that was like that a couple of weeks ago… Looked fine from the outside, but wasn’t fine on the inside.

    I wonder if those are the onions stored over from last year… my farm-fresh ones don’t seem to have that going on, but lots did through the late winter…
